The Art of Caring for Your Candle

It’s not just a candle, darling—it’s the soul of your sanctuary, and it’s here to shine bright!

Follow these simple steps to keep your candle glowing right to the very last flicker. ✨💚

First Burn? Let Your Candle Burn Right

First time’s the charm! When you light your candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar. No shortcuts, no tunnelling! This way, each burn is even and every flicker is full of love – plus, less waste. You’re welcome, world. 🌍💚

Trim the Wick – No Wild Flames Here!

Before each burn, give your wick a little trim (about 5-6mm). This simple step helps your candle burn cleaner, smoother, and with way less flicker and smoke. Plus, it’ll last a whole lot longer – and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a candle that knows how to shine? 💫🕯️

Burn Time – No Candle Marathons, Please!

Keep your candle’s burn time to no longer than 4 hours. Even the best things in life need a break – and candles are no exception! Shorter burn times help your candle last longer. While our double-walled jars keep things safe and cosy, shorter bursts of burn time keep the heat in check and the vibes just right. 🕯️⏳

Leave a Little Wax Behind

When your candle is nearing the end, leave 1-2cm of wax at the bottom. Think of it as leaving a comfy little cushion for your candle! This helps prevent overheating and ensures the vessel stays intact for future use (or even a new life as a cute container). 🎂🔥

Store Your Little Gem Away

Let your candle rest in a cool, dry spot—preferably in the shade, away from those sun-kissed rays. This helps to keep the wax and scent throw in perfect shape, ensuring every flicker feels as magical as the first. After all, your candle deserves a peaceful rest, just like you! 🌿💎

Pillar Rituals - Let It Glow, Naturally 🕯️
Our pillar candles are made with 100% natural cotton wicks — no synthetics, no additives — for a slow, authentic burn. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting and place on a heat-safe dish to catch the melt. Burn for 1–3 hours at a time to help them hold their form and glow gently, as nature intended. ✨🌿
